Wendt, Konan (Age 40, Invermere, B.C.)
November 2, 2020 10:26 amOn October 19, 2020, Konan Wendt of Invermere, B.C., age 40, passed away suddenly from injury occurred while skiing in the Kananaskia backcountry.
Konan was passionate about life and spent much time travelling the world, skiing, mountaineering, hiking and celebrating life with his ‘Family of Friends’.
He was always a caring and compassionate person and lived his life to the fullest. “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough!!”
Konan will be greatly missed by his mother Kim Wendt of Pembroke, father Mike Wendt of Mildmay and his brother Kai Wendt & Christa Sajna of Kelowna, B.C.
Also missing him are his grandmothers Cathy Boyne of Amberley, Joyce Nicholson of Almonte and Shirley Wendt of Mildmay, his aunts & uncles, Jackie & Lee Campbell of Clifford, Todd Boyne & Kerry Ammerman of Palmerston, Carol & Barry Ross of Teeswater, Joanne & Greg Ross and Bev Wendt of Mildmay.
All of Konan’s cousins and his many friends will forever hold a special place in their hearts for him.
Predeceased by his grandfathers, Byrnel Holtom, Brian Boyne and David Wendt and great grandmothers Daisy Lawerence, Hilda Holtom and Greta Boyne.
A private service will take place at a later date.
