Coutts, Elgin (Age 70, Elmwood)

Elgin Coutts, of RR#1 Elmwood, passed away at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, June 25th, in his 71st year.  Beloved husband of Carolyn. Dear father of Stacey and Rick Bell, Trevor Coutts and Lisa Geddes, Vanessa and Ricky Hall, and Jessica and Darren Emke.  Cherished ‘Gramps’ of 13.  Dear son-in-law of Irvin and Joyce Reay.  Fondly remembered by the Coutts and Reay families.  Predeceased by his parents John and Gladys Coutts, his brothers John and Ron Coutts, and his sister Phyllis Doupe.  A memorial visitation will be held at the Chesley Baptist Church, on Friday, July 2nd from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.  Due to Covid-19 protocols masks are required, social distancing must be respected on church property and a limited number of people will be allowed inside the church for visitation.  If you wish to attend the visitation, please call the Funeral Home or visit the death notice on the Funeral Home website and click “make a reservation” to confirm your attendance.  A private memorial service will be held.  Friends and extended family are welcome to view the service via livestream on Friday, July 2nd at 2 p.m. by visiting the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home website or the McCulloch-Watson Facebook page.  The livestream will begin shortly before service time and the video will remain posted for viewing afterwards.  Interment of cremated remains at Durham Cemetery.
