Elmer Clark, Veteran of WWII, of Durham, passed away at Serenity Place, Durham on Thursday, March 24th, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Rose Clark. Dear father of Ralph Clark and Donna, Ross Clark and Jean, Heather and Steve Wright, Dwight Clark and Shirley, Jake Clark, and Laurie and Ralph Paylor. Fondly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his infant son John, his daughter-in-law Heather, his brother Bryson, his sister Rena Hastie, his nephew Ronnie Hastie, and his niece Jean Hastie. Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Sunday, March 27th from 7:15 – 9 p.m., where members of the Masonic Lodge will hold a memorial service at 6:45 p.m. and members of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a memorial service at 7 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Elmer’s life will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, March 28th at 2:30 p.m. Masks are recommended and we encourage you to confirm your attendance.  If you wish to attend the visitation and/or service please visit the death notice on the Funeral Home website mccullochwatsonfuneralhome.ca and click “make a reservation” or call the Funeral Home.
