Walker, Edith (Age 94, Woodstock)

Edith Walker of Woodstock passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Monday, July 24th, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Walker. Loving mother of Pat Stewart & Greg and David Walker & Stella. Dear grammy of Carley & Tim Welch, Scott Stewart, Amanda Height, Jennifer & Jason Church, Adam Walker & K. Leigh. Special great-grammy of eight. Predeceased by parents Frederick & Etta Cook, two brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham (formerly S.J. Walker Funeral Home) on Wednesday, July 26th, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 27th, at 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be live-streamed and a link available on the McBurney Funeral Home website. Interment will take place in Wingham Cemetery.
