Bennett, Gord (Age 80, Markdale)

Gord Bennett, of Markdale, passed away at Brightshores Health System, Markdale on Saturday, January 11th in his 81st year with loved ones by his side.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Bennett. Loving father of Sheri Bennett, Tricia & Ken Peterson, and Theresa Bennett. Cherished grandfather of Damien & Leah, Terell, Tristan, Kendra and Joseph. Dear brother of Raymond Bennett and beloved friend of Elaine Coleman. He will be missed by many in-laws.

Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Monday, January 20th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Gordon’s life will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Spring interment at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
