MacKay, Carol (Age 79, Brussels)

After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Carol MacKay of Highland Apartments in Brussels, and formerly of Wingham, passed away at Wingham & District Hospital with family at her side on Sunday, February 16th at the age of 79.

Left to mourn is her husband of almost 58 years, Mac MacKay, her children Ian & Bonnie MacKay, Rob MacKay, Mike & Michelle MacKay, and Jamie & Karen MacKay, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters Marilyn & Rick Dinham, and Bev & Rick Bula, and sister-in-law Cathy Lyon & Mark Fusco.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday, February 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Legion Auxiliary Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service, and a reception will follow at the Wingham Legion. Spring interment in Wingham Cemetery.
