A dedicated and compassionate nurse, Maxine spent over 30 years serving at Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll, Ontario. She provided exemplary care for her patients as a bedside nurse before transitioning to the central supply department, where she played a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of sterility and safety for surgical procedures. During her time at the hospital, she formed many lasting friendships, and she will be especially missed by her dearest friend Margie Martin.

Maxine’s family would like to acknowledge the compassionate and dignified care she received at Alexandra Hospital in her final hours, as well as the palliative paramedicine team for their exemplary care and rapid response. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Maxine’s Nurse Practitioner, Jessie Rumble, for her years of exceptional care and support.

In keeping with Maxine’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment will occur at Granton Cemetery at a later date. A Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday February 16, 2025 from 1 to 4 p.m., in the Beattie Room at the Thamesford Library.
