Bender, Helen (Age 88, Listowel)

Helen Bender of Listowel passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 8th in her 89th year.

Beloved wife of the late Murray Bender. Devoted mother of Jeff & Tracy Bender, Todd & Carolyn Bender, and Jill & Trevor Reading. Loving grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 7. Sister of Joyce Kilbourne & the late Wilf, Paula Draper & Harvey, Judie Schramn, and Jackie Starr & Robin. Sister-in-law of Joan Brown. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Thursday, March 13th at 2:00 p.m. The service will be live streamed with a link available on the Eaton Funeral Home website. A continued time to honour Helen’s life and share memories to follow at the Listowel Golf Course from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. Spring interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
