Straker, Sybil (Age 89, Sarnia)

Sybil Straker of Sarnia and formerly of Belgrave, Wingham and Kincardine, passed away on Wednesday, December 11th.

Left to mourn her passing are her daughter Gail, son Doug, daughter-in-law Denise, 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and volunteer work for organizations like the Day Away Program and at Trillium Court where Sybil spent a year as a resident.

A funeral service to honour Sybil’s life will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, on Wednesday, May 14th at 1 p.m. Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery.
