Etherton, Walter (Age 97)

Walter “Buster” Etherton, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, October 2nd at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, at the age of 97.

He is survived by his wife Betty, and children Chuck & Jude, Liz & Alex Ilchuk, Stephanie & Allan Waechter, Peter, Sally & Gord Kroeplin, Jenny & Tom Chesney, Nonnie & John Wilson, Jack & Tami, Jason & Tara, and Kate & Mark Cartwright. Cherished by his 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He will be missed by brother-in-law Harry & Penny Von Hatten, and sister-in-law Dorothy Wyatt, special niece Carol Henkel, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Jill Edwards.

Friends and relatives are invited to visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9th at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Knights of Columbus Prayers at 6:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10th, at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton. Reception to follow at Knights of Columbus Hall, Walkerton. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
