Hershey, Alvin (Age 89, Harriston)

Alvin Hershey, formerly of Normanby Township, passed away at Caressant Care, Harriston, on Wednesday, October 22nd in his 90th year.

Husband of the late Ruth Hershey. Loved father of Dale & Joan Hershey. Proud grandfather of Abner & Michele Hershey, and Tyler & Josie Hershey, and great-grandfather of 6. Remembered also by Ruth’s siblings Myrtle Winters, and Bill & Shirley Luedke, and by his nieces, nephews, and their families. Predeceased by his daughter Eunice Deibel.

The funeral service will be held at St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mount Forest, on Monday, October 27th at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior and reception to follow. Interment at Chilton Cemetery.
