Baxter, Doug (Age 66, Mitchell)

Doug “Turnip” Baxter, of Mitchell, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Stratford Perth Rotary Hospice on Wednesday, January 21st at the age of 66.

Beloved husband of Nancy Baxter. Loving father of Shawnee. Dear brother of Kathy Belfour & Ray. Dear brother-in-law of Linda Stewart and David Stewart & Ria. Dear uncle of Jessica & Yad, Dallas & Cas, Jeremy & Heather, Leslie & Dave, Rebecca, Melissa, Melanie and Peter. He will be missed by many friends.

Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Doug’s life at the Lockhart Reception Centre, Mitchell on Wednesday, January 28th from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
