Country Gold, hosted by Terri Clark, is a music-intensive, fan-interactive program featuring special guest artists and country classics, airing every Saturday from 8am – 12pm.<\/p>\n
Hailing from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Terri Clark got her start by playing for tips at Tootsie\u2019s Orchid Lounge, a legendary honky-tonk bar across the alley from Nashville\u2019s historic Ryman Auditorium. With over 5 million albums sold, critically acclaimed international tours, and hit singles such as \u201cBetter Things To Do,\u201d \u201cPoor Poor Pitiful Me,\u201d \u201cGirls Lie Too,\u201d \u201cNorthern Girl,\u201d and \u201cI Just Wanna Be Mad,\u201d Terri has solidified her place in the history books of country music.<\/p>\n
In September 2018 Terri was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame. The 3-time JUNO Award winner also holds the honor of being the only Canadian female member of the legendary Grand Ole Opry. She has been named CCMA Female Vocalist of the Year five times and has taken home eight CCMA Fan\u2019s Choice Awards. In total, Terri has had the honor of receiving 19 CCMA Awards.<\/p>\n
