Jackson Dean has a lot of tattoos, but one of his favourites is still the large turkey feather that runs the length of his outer right forearm.<\/p>\n
The story of how and where he got the tattoo is a unique one.<\/p>\n
\u201cI got this from an ex-con in West Virginia at a show at a 4-H Center, Beckley, West Virginia. We went up there and did a show, and the guy that put on the show had this dead oak tree crawling up his arm and I was like, \u2018Man, that\u2019s awesome.\u2019 He goes, \u2018Yeah, my guy comes to my house, you want one?\u2019 I was like, \u2018Yeah.\u2019 So, he shows up with his kit, he\u2019s covered from the top of his head all the way down. He was in the state pen like four times and just did tats in prison with guitar strings. And he put a picture of a turkey feather right there, and I said, \u2018That\u2019s what I want.\u2019 And he just did it freehand and it took like three hours. And he was so nice. He just cooked barbecue and did everybody\u2019s tattoos in town.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
