Parton\u2019s original recording reached No. 11 on Billboard\u2019s Hot Country Singles chart in June 1977. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI wrote \u2018Light of a Clear Blue Morning\u2019 during a season when I was searching for hope, and fifty years later that message still feels just as true.
