Beloved husband of 40 years to Minnie (Pauline Shantz). Dear father of Tyre Kandas Weber-Tonnos and her husband Josh of Port Colborne. Loving Papa of Theoren and Trent. \u00a0Brother of Grant and Val, Lyle and Sharon, Norma and the late Brian, Doris and Dale, Mark and Rose, Warren and Rose, and Rick and Pat. Dave was predeceased by his father Charles, his mother Edna (Weltz) and his sister Audrey. Brother in law of Gloria and Garry, Mark and Monica, Brenda, Ralph and Sandra, Dale and Doreen, Bob and Sandi, and Carl and Joyce. \u00a0Predeceased by his father in law Wayne Shantz, his mother in law Susie Shantz-Good and her husband LeRoy Good, his sisters-in-law Martha and Ester and his brothers in law David and Keith. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Dave devoted 40 years of service to Rogers Cable TV, he had a passion for classic cars and antique tractors. He treasured his time with his friends and created many lifelong friendships. The family would like to thank Dr Boughan, Dr Abel and the terrific nurses at the Hanover Hospital. \u00a0<\/span><br \/>\nVisitation at the Garrett Funeral Chapel, Neustadt<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on Friday, April 5th, from 2 until 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Neil Thomsen in St. Paul\u2019s Lutheran Church, Neustadt on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 11 AM \u00a0Spring interment in St. Paul\u2019s Lutheran Cemetery, Neustadt. Donations may be made to the Diabetes Society.
