Alex was the proud father of Anne and her husband Paul Sartor, Bill and his fianc\u00e9 Lisa Morrison. Alex was also the proudest grandfather of Andrew Sartor. Alex will be deeply missed by his brothers Jack and Jackie, Ken and Ruth and Earl and Carol and sister-in-law Bernice Aitken. Respected uncle of Heather Aitken and Chris and Jeff Macdonald. Also left to mourn the loss of Alex is his girlfriend, Irene Sinclair and her daughters\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Glenda, Valerie, Debbie and their families. Alex was predeceased by his loving wife Ruth (nee Vrooman) 2004, his parents Percy and Pearl \u201cWinnie\u201d, brothers-in-law Bert Aitken and Keith Vrooman and sister-in-law Leona Au Coin.<\/span><br \/>\nThe Cumnock Community has lost a local historian, musician, farmer, mechanic\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and home builder. If anyone needed anything fixed, as long as it was green and\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">yellow, Alex would be right there! A true jack-of-all-trades and he mastered them\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">all!<\/span><br \/>\nVisitation to be held on Wednesday, May 29<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> at <\/span><span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.grahamgiddyfh.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Graham Giddy Funeral Home<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus<\/span><b>,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from 2 until 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
