He was Born in Seaforth on September 23, 1946. Loving father of Kevin McLlwain and Cathy Wade of Parry Sound and Carrie McLlwain and Brad Moore of Toronto. Cherished Grandpa of Alexander and Hillary McLlwain and Jacob, Olivia and Avery Moore. \u00a0Jim is survived by his partner Nancy Steinbach of Mitchell. \u201cGrandpa Mac\u201d will also be missed and forever loved by her family, Rob and Melissa Steinbach and their children Will and Jack, and Jerri-Ann Steinbach and her children Drew and Greg McKay. Dear brother of Helen Ahrens of Mitchell, Jack McLlwain, Marian Pullman, and Ken and Lois McLlwain, all of Seaforth. \u00a0Loved uncle of Pat and Mike MacRae, John McGrath, Mark and Kathy McLlwain, David McLlwain, Susan Pullman, Brenda and Jerry DeJong, Paul and Jill McLlwain, Cheryl and Jeremy Adams, and their families. Jim will also be missed by his cherished friends. Predeceased by his parents Harvey and Ida (n\u00e9e Stubbs) McLlwain, his brother Larry McLlwain, brothers-in-law Ivan Ahrens and Edward McGrath, and by his sister-in-law Audrey McLlwain. <\/span><br \/>\nAs per Jim\u2019s wishes cremation is taking place. \u00a0A celebration of his life will be held at the Seaforth and District Community Centre, 122 Duke St., Seaforth, on Friday, June 28th from 1 to 4 PM with words of remembrance at 2 PM. \u00a0Interment will take place in Maitlandbank Cemetery on Saturday, June 29th at 11 AM.
