Beloved husband to Ruth and predeceased by his first wife Donna (nee Cudmore), in 1999. Loving father to Rick and Sherrie of North Bay and Jeff of Kitchener and step-father to Greg and Hilary, Lori and Wilf, and Jamie. Proud grandfather to Sarah and Andrew of Fort Nelson BC, Ashley and Tyler of Rutherglen and Christopher of Kitchener. Predeceased by his parents Melvin and Edna, and brother Bob Nay.<\/span><br \/>\nBill was born in Howick Township and spent his adult life in Gorrie. He worked in sheet metal fabrication for Western Foundry\/Westcast for many years. On retirement, he enjoyed travelling and sitting on his deck in the backyard.<br \/>\nAt Bill\u2019s request cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to <a href=\"https:\/\/riversidefuneralhome.ca\/\"><b>Riverside Funeral Home<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, Brussels,<\/span><br \/>\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham &amp; District Hospital Foundation or the Gorrie United Church would be appreciated.\u00a0Cards of sympathy may be sent to Box 176 Gorrie N0G 1X0.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Bill NAY, of Gorrie, peacefully with family by his side on July 18th, 2019 in his 89th year.
