Before she entered her teens, Martina was singing with her father’s band, “The Schifters”.\u00a0 As she honed her talents, her roles within the band expanded.\u00a0 She then performed with a local rock band, and eventually formed a band called, “Lotus”.<\/p>\n
When she was looking for rehearsal space, she met studio engineer John McBride.\u00a0 They married the following year, and in 1989, they moved to Nashville to further their Country Music Careers.<\/p>\n
John joined Garth Brook’s sound crew, which led to Martina opening shows for Garth on the road.<\/p>\n
Martina has since placed five singles on top of the Billboard Country Chart, she’s released thirteen studio albums, and has sold over fourteen million records.<\/p>\n
