He was\u00a0 89.\u00a0 Survived by devoted children, who all cared for him during his illness; Mary and Dwain White of Owen Sound,\u00a0 Heather and Harold Fleet of Hanover and Pamela and John Weber of Orillia. Special grandfather of Ryan and Brandi White, Matthew and Dr. Cheryl White, Kristen and Richard Horne and Kyle Weber and Kelly Kornet. He always enjoyed being with and telling stories to his great grandchildren Ebony, Madison, Hunter,\u00a0 Zachary, Curtis, Gregory, Jackson and Connor. Survived by his brother of Don and Grace Fahrer of Hanover. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his beloved wife Christina (nee Kuenzig) Fahrer, brother Jerome and Mae Fahrer and sister Geraldine and George Klemmer.<\/p>\n<p>To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family gathering at the Hanover Cemetery for an inurnment of ashes in the Columbarium at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Memorial donations to the Hanover and District Hospital Foundation, \u00a0Ronald McDonald House or McMaster Children&#8217;s Hospital in Hamilton would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
