Much loved husband of Amy Bishop, and loving father of Hannah and Addison.\u00a0 Jody will be warmly remembered by his mother Judy (Voelzing) Current of Kitchener, and by Amy&#8217;s family; her parents Keith and Henny Derbecker of Clifford, brother Chris and Valerie Derbecker (Riley, Ben, and Anika Derbecker), and her sister Shelley and Brandon Kerr (Adelyn Kerr).\u00a0 Predeceased by his father Don Bishop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">As Jody was a recipient of a donated kidney and now a tissue donor himself, the family would strongly encourage everyone to sign their donor cards and let their wishes be known to family and loved ones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Visitation will be held at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hardyleefuneralhome.com\/\">Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston\u00a0<\/a>on\u00a0Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.\u00a0\u00a0Funeral Service will be held at St. John\u2019s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clifford on Saturday, November 16<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0at 11:00 a.m.\u00a0 Interment in Clifford Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Jody BISHOP,\u00a0of Clifford, unexpectedly, at Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, in his 51st year.
