Loving husband to Shirley for 25 years. Brother to Doris and the late Ross Strickland, Mary and the late Maitland Edgar, and Louise and William Marshall. Missed by several nieces, nephews and Shirley\u2019s family. Predeceased by parents John and Margaret Bowman, sister Isabel and Bill Elston and several in-laws.<\/span><br \/>\nJim farmed and lived in Morris Township for almost 90 years. He was passionate about the Brussels Agricultural Society and participated in the Brussels Fair every year, always taking home a ribbon.<br \/>\nCremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at Melville Presbyterian Church on Saturday, December 7<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for visitation from 11 AM until 12 noon followed by a funeral service at 12 noon. Arrangements entrusted to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/riversidefuneralhome.ca\/\"><b>Riverside Funeral Home<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, Brussels.<\/span><br \/>\nIn lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy donations to the Brussels Morris and Grey Community Centre Building Fund or Melville Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"James \u2018Jim\u2019 Walter BOWMAN peacefully on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 in his 90th year.
