Patty was born April 27, 1947, to Mary Jane \u201cToots\u201d Smith and George Wellington Boyne.\u00a0 She married John \u201cJack\u201d Harold Nickel on September 20, 1968.\u00a0 They celebrated 51 years of marriage together. Jack and Patty had three beautiful daughters:\u00a0 Jacqui and Josh Alexander, and Jennifer and Jeff Smith, all of Gowanstown, and Jodeyn and Lindsay Grills of Ucluelet, BC.\u00a0 Nanna of Jordan and Jillian Alexander, Jane Jackson, Justin Smith, and Ethan and Noah Grills. Sister of Marion Dewbury, and sister-in-law of Thelma and Swain VanCamp, and Bob Clarke. Aunt Patty will be dearly missed by Dean and Laurie Clarke, Barb and Erik Jensen, Deborah and Dominic Langley, Mary Jane and Todd Blackport, and Scott VanCamp. Predeceased by her parents, sister Mildred Clarke, brother-in-law Fred Dewbury, and nieces Susan (VanCamp) DeMatteo and Sandra (VanCamp) Kozak.<\/span><br \/>\nA private family service will be held at Eaton Funeral Home, on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, followed by a public Celebration of Patty\u2019s life at the Listowel Golf Club from 1 to 4 PM with words of remembrance at 2 PM.\u00a0 Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Arrangements entrusted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eatonfuneralhome.ca\/\"><strong>Eaton Funeral Home<\/strong><\/a>, Listowel.<br \/>\nMemorial donations to North Perth Community Hospice, Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation, or Trinity United Church would be appreciated.
