Peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Gorrie on Saturday, May 2, 2020, Mrs. Wanda Mildred (Sparling) Roth passed away in her 71st year.<\/p>\n
Beloved wife of Ed Roth for 50 years.\u00a0 Dear mother of Tracy & Tony Couto of Wroxeter, and Cory & Kelly Roth of Gorrie, and grandmother of Jeff, Eddie, Marissa, and Megan.\u00a0 Sister of Yvonne & Don Gedcke of Listowel, and sister-in-law of Shirley & Herb Wagler of Tavistock, Brenda Roth of Fordwich, Ervin Roth of Listowel, and Dianne Rellinger of Listowel.\u00a0 Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Predeceased by her parents Clarence & Bernice (Day) Sparling, \u00a0parents-in-law Almon & Annie Mae (Ropp) Roth, sisters-in-law Marie Roth, Nelda Roth \u00a0and brothers-in-law Del Roth, Mayne Roth, and Bill Knoblauch.<\/p>\n
Wanda was born in Listowel on October 29, 1949.\u00a0 Married the love of her life on June 14, 1969.\u00a0 She resided in Gorrie, where she was a hairdresser for 40 years. Wanda enjoyed camping with friends and family, trips to the beach and curling in the winters.\u00a0 She will always be a country girl at heart. \u00a0 Wanda cherished her time with the Grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them.<\/p>\n
A private family service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020 with interment in Gorrie Cemetery. Memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated, and may be made through Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
