Arend Flinkert<\/strong><\/p>\n

April 8, 1937 \u2013 June 15, 2020<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

of Drayton passed away peacefully<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

at home surrounded by the love of his family<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

on Monday, June 15, 2020 in his 84th<\/sup>\u00a0year.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

\u00a0Arend is survived by his loving wife<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Augustina \u201cAudrey\u201d (Praamsma) Flinkert for 59 years.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Cherished father to his four children,<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Lisa Kraehling and her friend John Seehaver of Grand Valley,<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Wilma Flinkert and her friend Henry Smith of Edmonton, Alberta,<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Maria and Henk Pastink of Conn and<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Brent and Wilma Flinkert of New Liskeard.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Dear grandfather of<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

and Hank Flinkert all of Alberta.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Auke and Cathy Praamsma of Lakefield and<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Lucy and Jim Veenstra of Drayton.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Predeceased by his parents Berend and Wiechertje Flinkert,<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

son-in-law Ross Kraehling, sister Margaret Dobben,<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

brothers-in-law Eddy Van Staalduinen,\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Rev. Peter Praamsma and Bert Dobben.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

To follow the restrictions due to Covid 19 a<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Private Family Funeral Service of will be<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

held in the Drayton Reformed Church.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Arend\u2019s funeral service will be posted on<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

You Tube under the Drayton Reformed Church<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

for anyone that would like to watch the service.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Arend will be laid to rest in the Drayton Cemetery following the service.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

\u00a0As expressions of sympathy donations to<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

the Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
