Beloved wife of the late S. Harvey Thompson.\u00a0 \u2018Mom\u2019 of Joe Thompson of Orangeville, Debbie Thompson-Wilson & David Wilson of Guelph, Robert & Nancy Thompson of Langley, B.C., and Marion and Kevin Toner of Listowel.<\/p>\n
\n
She was the much loved \u2018grandma\u2019 of Sarah St. John (David), Richard Thompson (Corinne), Ian Thompson, Tracey Toner (Shawn Eavis), Tiffany Bennett (Curtis), and proud great-grandma of Olivia, Lennon, Niyah, and Kinsey.<\/p>\n
\n
Born in Scarborough, ON, and a graduate of Mothercraft nursing college in Toronto, she moved to Listowel in 1953 as a new bride.\u00a0 After raising her \u201cImpossible 4\u201d, she worked at the MDS Lab in the 1970s and 1980s.<\/p>\n
\n
Predeceased by her parents Dorothy (Sigston) and Arthur Harris, and her brother Bob Harris.\u00a0 She will be remembered by her many nephews, nieces, cousins, family, and friends.<\/p>\n
\n
Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.\u00a0 Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.<\/p>\n
\n
Memorial donations to the Palmerston & District Hospital, or a charity of one\u2019s choice would be appreciated.<\/p>\n
