An end to an era. \u201cI never met anyone I didn\u2019t like\u201d Will Rogers said it, Ivan Dow lived it. A genuine people person! A stranger was a friend to be. Ivan saw and respected the good in people. As so many others the impact of COVID hit hard. In March of 2020 Ivan was hospitalized and waited four months for a long-term care bed. The isolation of visitor restrictions took its toll. And though he would rather have gone home to his van Dow farm on Belfast Road he moved to Huronlea. He took it all in stride, settled right in and never complained. He appreciated the loving attention and nothing but excellent care he received at Huronlea.
