Edith, who was in her 99th year, was born to Harry and Anna McCleneghan. She moved to Brucefield in 1946 to teach school at #10 Stanley. There she met\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">her husband Glenn, who predeceased her in 1996. She is lovingly remembered by her children Barbara Riley and Doug, Paul Swan and Sharon, Doug and Sherry and Kevin and Susan. For over fifty years she has enjoyed watching her six grandchildren grow, flourish and become parents and for the last 2 decades she has delighted over her great grandchildren who range in age from 21 to three weeks. She will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">close friends. Predeceased by her brother Bill and his wife Beatrice. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Brucefield Community United Church, on Monday July 5, from 10:30 until 1:30. Those wishing to attend the visitation must schedule a time with the funeral home. A private family funeral will follow.
