Cole Swindell announced the sad news that his mother, Betty Carol Rainey, died on Monday, September 13th.<\/p>\n
He posted an Instagram story of his view of the clouds from a plane writing,<\/p>\n
“Took this on the flight home to Georgia this afternoon. Lost my sweet mom today. I know she’s up there. Gonna miss her so much . . .”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Rainey’s age and cause of death have not been made public.<\/p>\n

Swindell lost his father unexpectedly eight years ago.<\/p>\n
