I think I have a few ribs floating around in my body. This is real work. &#8220;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The show&#8217;s creator, Taylor Sheridan, is a stickler for realism. Instead of a Hollywood set, they filmed in the heat of a Texas summer.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the period clothing, the actors spent long stretches on horseback, and they also had to be authentic while going to the bathroom.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;You learn how to pick a tree, squat down, and do your business. [But] that&#8217;s why so many actors are drawn to Taylor&#8217;s writing because he&#8217;s portraying the story in a way that was lived.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tim McGraw loved it too.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s super dusty and super hot. At the same time, it&#8217;s every kid&#8217;s fantasy to do something like this, to put your chaps on, your cowboy hat, and your gun holsters every day.
