Devoted partner of Trudy Thomson. Cherished step-father of Carol &amp; John Witney, Angie &amp; Bill Horst, Butch Foran &amp; Lorene Schmidtke and Joy MacDonald &amp; Rob Pollock. Loving grandpa of nine and great-grandpa of two. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Gayle &amp; Brad Speiran, Barb Rintoul, Lila Rintoul, John &amp; Clara Thomson, Bruce &amp; Maureen Thomson, Bill &amp; Jan Thomson, and Sandra Thomson. Brian will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Gordon &amp; Doreen Rintoul, brothers Gary and Lee Rintoul, brother-in-law Rae Thomson, sister-in-law Pat Thomson, nephew Kevin Rintoul and niece Debbie Smuck. Visitation will take place at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday, January 13th, from 2:00-4:00 &amp; 6:00-9:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend must RSVP through the website, masks must be worn at all times and proof of vaccination will be required prior to entry. A private funeral service will take place on Friday, January 14th, in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. A live-stream of the funeral will be available on our website.
