Devoted husband of Jacqueline Gowdy of Wingham. Loving dad of Janna &amp; Don Dodds of Wingham and Philip &amp; Laurie Gowdy of Strathroy. Cherished grandpa of Rachael Speers &amp; Mike Grass, Eliza Dodds, Jessica &amp; Dan Murphy and Melissa Gowdy. Great-grandpa of Aubrey, Cohen, Alice and Frankie. Predeceased by his parents Harold &amp; Emmeline Gowdy, sisters-in-law Muriel Attwood and Jack, Joanne King and Bill, Nadine Cathers and Everett and brother-in-law Donald Gilmar and Lois. A service for family and friends will be held at Gorrie United Church on Friday, May 27th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Final resting place, Gorrie Cemetery.
