She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Frieda Litt. Predeceased by the love of her life, Carl Maedel who passed in 1997.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Loving mother of Paul and Fern Maedel, Liz and Tom Goodyer, Colleen and Vince Priestap and the late Alan Maedel. Special grandmother to 12. Betty was blessed with 20 Great\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Betty will be fondly remembered by her dear sisters Evelyn, Leone and Donna and Walter and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Monkton Community\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Centre on August 16 from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Betty\u2019s life will be held at Monkton Community Centre on August 17, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
