Husband of Effie Eelkema. Father of Brian &amp; Lisa Eelkema, Jacqueline &amp; Frank Geerlinks, Selia &amp; Fred Koops, Alice &amp; Rick Meloche, Brenda &amp; Greg Hiemstra, Sara &amp; Mark Verkuyl, Krista &amp; Jim Halland and the late Mark Eelkema. Grandfather of 18, and great-grandfather of 6. Brother of Elisabeth DeBliek, and George &amp; Patricia Eelkema, and brother-in-law of Greta Eelkema &amp; Harry Harsevoort, Jack Klinker, Riek Klinker, and Linda Klinker. Predeceased by parents Wes &amp; Sylvia Eelkema, brothers John, Bill, and Peter, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Harry Klinker, Rennie Feddema, Alice Klinker, and Don Klinker. Visitation will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Listowel, on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, at 11:00 a.m. \u00a0 Private family interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
