George Strait made history on Saturday, June 15 when he played Kyle Field at Texas A&M University.<\/p>\n
He filled the stadium with 110,905 people, which was the largest ticketed crowd in U.S. history.<\/p>\n
The previous record was 107,019.<\/p>\n
That’s how many people paid to see the Grateful Dead at Raceway Park in New Jersey in 1977.<\/p>\n
George also broke the Kyle Field attendance record and has the record for largest indoor ticketed concert in North America, with 104,793 fans at his AT&T Stadium show in 2014.<\/p>\n
Fellow Texas natives Parker McCollum and Catie Offerman opened for George.<\/p>\n
