The film is based on real emergency call recordings from January 29, 2024, when a five-year-old girl in Gaza, Hind Rajab, was trapped in a car under fire while Red Crescent responders worked to reach her. It offers a focused and deeply sobering look at the realities facing civilians in conflict zones.

The evening will also include a brief talk by Dr. Yipeng Ge, a resident physician at the University of Ottawa and public health advocate. Dr. Ge has spent time in Gaza supporting medical efforts and remains active in international solidarity initiatives, including coordinating with healthcare workers in the region. He will provide important context on the healthcare conditions underlying the film.

Tickets are $10, with a pay-what-you-can option available. All proceeds will support Safe ‘N Sound.

The location of the play is at Norwell District Secondary School in the EC Gray centre in Palmerston, Ontario. The show runs from Wednesday May 13th, to Saturday May 16th. Tickets are $10 for students and seniors, and $12 for adults. The doors open at 7:00 pm and the show starts at 7:30pm for all nights. If you would like to purchase tickets, please call the main office at Norwell (519-343-3107) and specify how many tickets for what night, and how many students, seniors, and adults will be coming. Cash is the only form of payment, and you must go to the school to pay for them. Tickets will only be held at the door if they are payed off. We hope to see you all there!
