The Trash Dash is a family-friendly community event encouraging residents to help keep Huron East clean and beautiful by collecting litter along designated routes in Brussels, Seaforth, and Vanastra. Participants can drop by one of the event check-in locations to receive gloves, garbage bags, and sign up for a route before heading out into the community.

Check-in locations include:

Brussels Library: 402 Turnberry St., Brussels
Huron East Municipal Office: 72 Main St. S, Seaforth
Vanastra Recreation Centre: 26 Toronto Blvd., Vanastra
Refreshments will be available for participants at each location.

Seaforth, ON – April 22, 2026 –Parents and caregivers in Huron and Perth Counties are invited to attend Community Connections for Parents and Caregivers of Diverse Learners, a free event co‑hosted by the Avon Maitland District School Board and the Huron‑Perth Catholic District School Board. The event focuses on exploring local supports and services. Whether your child is in elementary school, secondary school, or planning for life beyond high school, this event provides an opportunity to learn about community resources and connect with agencies offering programs for a wide range of needs—including Autism and other developmental differences.

Location: Seaforth Public School Gymnasium, 58 Chalk St. N, Seaforth
