THE BATMAN SEQUEL IS STILL A GO<\/b>\u00a0_ The Batman writer-director Matt Reeves and his company just signed a deal with Warner Bros. to continue to develop and expand his Batman universe, which began with last year\u2019s hit movie. He\u2019s working on the sequel with a new writer, continuing the Colin Farrell-led Penguin show for HBO Max, and possibly developing a long-rumored Arkham Asylum project too.<\/p>\n
\u2026 That Warner Bros. is moving forward a sequel to The Batman should come as no surprise since it grossed over $770 million at the global box office. There were concerns, however, that the sequel would be shelved when the Batgirl film was cancelled.<\/p>\n

CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM RENEWED FOR SEASON 12\u00a0<\/b>_ Curb Your Enthusiasm has been renewed for Season 12 at HBO. Season 11 of the critically-acclaimed comedy series began airing on HBO in October 2021. That season picked up four Emmy nominations, including best comedy series and best guest actor in a comedy series for Bill Hader. The show has received 51 Emmy nominations in total to date.<\/p>\n
\u2026 Larry David created Curb Your Enthusiasm and stars as a semi-fictionalized version of himself. To keep the narrative spontaneous, the series is shot without a script and cast members are given scene outlines and improvise lines as they go.<\/p>\n

PAUL RUDD CAST IN ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING SEASON 3\u00a0<\/b>_ Paul Rudd has joined the cast of Only Murders in the Building. The actor will star in the show\u2019s third season after making a cameo as Broadway star Ben Glenroy in the Season 2 finale. It is not known whether Rudd will appear in a series regular, recurring or guest capacity.<\/p>\n

UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS HAS A NEW TAYLOR SWIFT CLASS<\/b>\u00a0_ Taylor Swift fans headed to the University of Texas are in for a real treat this fall. There\u2019s a special new class coming to campus for first-year undergraduates: a deep dive into Swift and her music, specifically for the liberal arts honors program.<\/p>\n
\u2026 English professor Elizabeth Scala will lead students through Swift\u2019s catalog of songs in the new course titled Literary Contests and Contexts \u2014 The Taylor Swift Songbook. The UT Department of English shared news of the course on their Facebook and how diving into Swift\u2019s songs would help students with their research methods in songwriting.<\/p>\n
\u2026 Scala said: \u201cSwift is an intelligent and talented songwriter, and her writing skills are what made me focus on her.
