At the People’s Choice Awards<\/strong> last night Taylor Swift<\/strong> took home three awards, while Selena Gomez<\/strong> and Elizabeth Olsen<\/strong> won two each, and Lizzo<\/strong>‘s “About Damn Time” was named the Song of 2022. She also received the People’s Champion Award. Ryan Reynolds<\/strong> was this year’s recipient of the People’s Icon Award; and Shania Twain<\/strong> accepted the Music Icon Award and performed a medley of her songs. Other winners included Harry Styles, Adam Sandler, Latto and BTS.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Time Magazine<\/strong> has named its Icon of the Year<\/strong>. This year, Michelle Yeoh<\/strong> gets the honour. She\u2019s been acting since the \u201980s, but more than that, she\u2019s been doing her own stunts since then too. Now, she is finally becoming a Hollywood mainstay with roles in films like Everything Everywhere All at Once, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Crazy Rich Asians. Time’s Person of the Year is Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Daily Show<\/strong> has lined up Chelsea Handler, Leslie Jones, John Leguizamo<\/strong>, and others as guest hosts
\nin preparation for Trevor Noah<\/strong>‘s departure tomorrow after seven years. Kal Penn, Sarah Silverman, Wanda Sykes, and Marlon Wayans are also on the roster.<\/p>\n
