At the movies, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie<\/strong> is finally here in all its pink perfection! Margot Robbie<\/strong>\u00a0is Barbie, who\u00a0starts to have an existential identity crisis, wondering who she really is. Ryan Gosling<\/strong> (and Simu Liu and Scott Evans<\/strong>, and more) play Ken. <\/strong>Alternate versions of Barbie are played by\u00a0Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon<\/strong> and others. And the Barbie soundtrack<\/strong> drops today too, with tracks from Dua Lipa, Lizzo,\u00a0Billie Eilish<\/strong> and others.<\/p>\n

In Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’<\/strong> — the other big opening this weekend — Cillian Murphy<\/strong> stars as Oppenheimer, aka the father of the atomic bomb. The movie also stars Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr<\/strong>., and lots of stars make cameos<\/strong>. Also in theaters, Zach Galifianakis and Elizabeth Banks<\/strong> star in ‘The Beanie Bubble’<\/strong>, about the rise and fall of Beanie Babies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jamie Foxx<\/strong> has a new project in the works… he’s working on a campaign\u00a0and will star in commercials for\u00a0BetMGM<\/strong>, the MGM Resorts-connected sports betting company.<\/p>\n

Discovery Channel<\/strong> has landed the perfect host this year for \u201cShark Week,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 and he’s a huge fan of all ocean creatures \u2014 he’s none other than Aquaman<\/strong> himself, Jason Momoa<\/strong>! Shark Week starts Sunday.<\/p>\n
