BOX OFFICE<\/b> _ Barbie earned an estimated $93 million in its second weekend at the North American box office \u2014 one of the best second weekends of all time. Barbie finished Sunday with a domestic total of $351.4 million, and global total of $774.5 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2026 Meanwhile, Oppenheimer continues to perform well in the runner-up position. After ten days in theaters the biopic has made just over $400 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

    TAYLOR SWIFT CONCERT TRIGGERS SEISMIC ACTIVITY _ <\/b>Fans of Taylor Swift caused seismic activity comparable to a 2.3-magnitude earthquake during her concert in Seattle. Seismologist Jackie Caplan-Auerbach first examined the activity after seeing social media chatter about Pacific Northwest earthquakes. She grabbed 10 hours of data, from when doors opened to well after the audience had gone home, and plotted it out to see how the ground shook.<\/p>\n

    \u2026 The seismic data showed that the activity generated by Swift\u2019s Eras Tour concert at Lumen Field was comparable to a similar \u201cBeast Quake\u201d in 2011, set off by Seattle Seahawks football fans after a touchdown by Marshawn \u201cBeast Mode\u201d Lynch. Caplan-Auerbach said the two events were different, making direct comparisons difficult. The shaking from Swift\u2019s concert was bigger than the Beast Quake in terms of raw amplitude and duration, and Caplan-Auerbach says the seismic activity could have been caused, in part, by the sound system.<\/p>\n

    AMANDA BYNES CHECKS INTO NEW MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY _ <\/b>Actress Amanda Bynes has reportedly checked into a new mental health facility after being placed on a psychiatric hold in late June. Bynes has been struggling with mental health issues for some time, and was detained by police in June for a mental health evaluation. She checked out of a psychiatric facility on July 1, but has now checked into a new facility to continue her recovery.<\/p>\n

    HOME IMPROVEMENT STAR ZACHERY TY BRYAN BUSTED FOR DV AGAIN _ <\/b>Zachery Ty Bryan is experiencing d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu in the worst way possible because the guy found himself in an Oregon jail, yet again, for alleged domestic violence. TMZ reports that the Home Improvement star was arrested Friday for felony assault, in violation of the Abuse Prevention Act. That\u2019s when someone is accused of attacking somebody else who\u2019d previously been granted a restraining order in relation to domestic violence.<\/p>\n

    \u2026 This appears to be a bit of a repeat of what happened three years ago in the same town in Oregon (Eugene).<\/p>\n

    CARDI B RETALIATES, THROWS MICROPHONE AT FAN _ <\/b>Cardi B threw a microphone at a concertgoer who threw a drink at her during her performance in Las Vegas on Saturday. The incident occurred at Drai\u2019s Beachclub. After Cardi B was hit with liquid, she retaliated by angrily throwing her microphone at the person who threw the drink.<\/p>\n

    UPDATE ON SHERLOCK HOLMES 3 _ <\/b>It\u2019s been almost 12 years since the Robert Downey Jr. movie Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows was released. The blockbuster film made $543 million at the global box office, slightly more than the first film in the series, 2009\u2019s Sherlock Holmes. Not long after A Game of Shadows was released, fans were told a third film was being planned. Fast forward almost a dozen years and fans are wondering: What\u2019s going on?<\/p>\n
