For Monday, February 26th:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

At the SAG awards<\/strong>, ‘Oppenheimer’<\/strong> dominated the stage, cementing its status as the frontrunner ahead of the Oscars on March 10th…. and some of the individual winners included Lily Gladstone<\/strong> for ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’, Cillian Murphy<\/strong> and Robert Downey Jr.<\/strong> for ‘Oppenheimer’, Da’Vine Joy Randolph<\/strong> was named best supporting actress for ‘The Holdovers.’<\/p>\n

Also picking up trophies on the TV side, The Bear <\/strong>and The Last of Us<\/strong>, and Succession<\/strong> won in its final season. Also Ali Wong and Steven Yeun<\/strong> for Beef, Elizabeth Debicki<\/strong> for the Crown, Pedro Pascal<\/strong> won for the Last of Us, and Jason Sudeikis lost to Jeremy Allen White<\/strong> who won for The Bear, as did his costar Ayo Edebiri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Another slow weekend at the box office… but ‘Bob Marley: One Love’<\/strong> was stirring it up for another number one weekend, bringing in $13.5 million for top spot. The animated ‘Demon Slayer’<\/strong> was second and Hilary Swank’s ‘Ordinary Angels’<\/strong> came in third. And in it’s second weekend ‘Madame Web’<\/strong> took in just $6 million. Probably no need to plan for a sequel.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Greta Gerwig<\/strong> is set to make two films based on C.S. Lewis’ Narnia<\/strong> novels for Netflix<\/strong>. In fact, she’s had this planned since before she started working on the Barbie<\/strong> movie. Netflix has no date for the movies yet, but Gerwig hopes to cover all seven novels in the two movies.<\/p>\n

And Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce<\/strong> were put on blast by PETA<\/strong> for going to the Sydney Zoo<\/strong>.
