A monster of a weekend at the movies… “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire \u201d<\/strong> roared to an $80 million opening at the North American box office<\/strong>, stomping expectations of a 50 million dollar weekend. Last week\u2019s No. 1 at the box office, “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,”<\/strong> was second with $15.7 and “Dune: Part Two”<\/strong> stayed strong in its fifth week, for third place.<\/p>\n

Beyonc\u00e9’s album Act II: Cowboy Carter<\/strong> came out on Friday and all sorts of chatter about it on the internet over the weekend… and yes, she did record a version of Jolene. Dolly Parton<\/strong> is cool with it, and Beyonc\u00e9 sent flowers<\/strong> to Black female country artists Mickey Guyton and K. Michelle and said, “Thank you for opening doors for me.”<\/p>\n

Shortly after Leonardo DiCaprio<\/strong>‘s girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti was spotted wearing a ring on ‘THAT’ finger, rumors<\/strong> began circulating that the couple was engaged<\/strong>…. but a source has told gossip site Page Six that there is \u201czero\u201d truth to the story, pointing out that the ring in question is silver, not diamond.<\/p>\n

Sydney Sweeney<\/strong> has shut down reports that she will star in a new movie with Johnny Depp<\/strong>, and her rep confirms she is not involved<\/strong> in the upcoming supernatural thriller “Day Drinker.”<\/strong> (but what a way to get some publicity for the movie!)<\/p>\n

And ICYMI<\/strong> last week: Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson<\/strong> have welcomed their first child<\/strong>. Pattinson was spotted pushing a light pink baby stroller, so the best guess is it’s a girl. Whatever the case, this kid is gonna have some great cheekbones!<\/p>\n

And Tori Spelling<\/strong> has officially filed for divorce<\/strong> from Dean McDermott<\/strong>.
