Ryan Reynolds<\/strong> made an impromptu appearance on The View<\/strong> yesterday… from the audience. He was there with his mom<\/strong>, but Whoopi Goldberg<\/strong> saw him and had a little chat. Whoopi ended the show by inviting Ryan’s mom, who’s a big fan, to the table to read the daily sign off line “take a little time to enjoy The View.”<\/p>\n

Shania Twain<\/strong> will join Howie Mandel<\/strong> as one of the judges on Canada\u2019s Got Talent<\/strong> when the reality show returns next year for season 4. Kardinal Offishall<\/strong> will be back along with another new judge, comedian Katherine Ryan.<\/p>\n

Shania Twain<\/strong> will be performing this week before the Edmonton Oilers<\/strong> take on Florida Panthers<\/strong> for game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals<\/strong> on Saturday night. Thursday the free pre-game performance in Edmonton will be by Our Lady Peace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ian McKellen<\/strong> has joked that he would consider playing Gandalf<\/strong> again in the upcoming Lord of the Rings<\/strong> movie ‘The Hunt for Gollum’<\/strong> adding ”If I’m alive’. ‘He is 85 now and the movie is expected to begin filming next year.<\/p>\n

In addition to The Baldwins<\/strong> new family reality TV show, it looks like Denise Richards<\/strong> and her family are getting a reality show<\/strong>. The working title is ‘Denise Richards and the Wild Things.’<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lenny Kravitz<\/strong> has a new album called Blue Electric Light. He’ll be on air with Ryan Seacrest<\/strong> tonight after 8<\/p>\n
