The Amazing Race Canada<\/strong> is set to return for its 10th season next month on CTV, and competitors this time around include ex-NHL player Brad May<\/strong> with his daughter, twin sister actresses, a Big Brother Canada<\/strong> winner and professional poker player Kevin Martin, and YouTuber<\/strong> John Ferguson.<\/p>\n

Paramount+\u2019s Dexter prequel<\/strong> cast keeps getting more impressive. Sarah Michelle Gellar<\/strong> has signed onto Dexter: Original Sin, which follows a young Dexter Morgan. Gellar will guest star as Tanya Martin, the CSI Chief at Miami Metro PD AND Dexter Morgan\u2019s new boss. Christian Slater and Patrick Dempsey<\/strong> are also part of the cast.<\/p>\n

In theaters, Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn,<\/strong> and Alex Wolff star in ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’<\/strong>, the prequel to the original; Kevin Costner<\/strong> stars in and directs ‘Horizon: An American Saga \u2014 Chapter 1’<\/strong>, part of the reason he won’t be returning to Yellowstone<\/strong>; and Sean Penn and Dakota Johnson star in Daddio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And on Netflix<\/strong>, a surprising romance kicks off comic consequences in “A Family Affair’, starring Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron<\/strong> and Joey King<\/p>\n

And coming up on Monday, CBC has ‘Canada Day: Feel The Rhythm’<\/strong> at 8 p.m. featuring performances by Chromeo, Kiesza, Maestro Fresh Wes, Metric<\/strong>, and more. Earlier in the day CBC is presenting ‘Celebrating Gordon Lightfoot’<\/strong> on their streaming service at noon, with performances by Blue Rodeo, Serena Ryder, Tom Cochrane, City and Colour<\/strong> and many more.
