In theatres this weekend, Ana de Armas<\/strong> is back in action as Eve, reuniting with Keanu Reeves<\/strong> for the ‘John Wick’ spinoff, ‘Ballerina.’<\/strong> It’s set during the events of ‘John Wick: Chapter 3’<\/strong> and follows her as she trains to become an assassin.<\/p>\n

On Netflix, Taraji P. Henson<\/strong> plays a struggling single mother having the mother of all bad days in Tyler Perry’s ‘Straw,’<\/strong> also starring Sherri Shepherd, Teyana Taylor, and Sinbad. But not all Netflix<\/strong> movies are new this weekend… coming tomorrow it’s ‘Boys on the Side’<\/strong>, a 1995 road trip movie starring Whoopi Goldberg, Mary-Louise Parker, Drew Barrymore and Matthew McConaughey<\/p>\n

Premiering tomorrow at the Tribeca Film Festival, Kevin Bacon<\/strong> hits the dance floor with his wife of 37 years, Kyra Sedgwick in ‘The Best You Can.’ They aren’t a couple in the movie, but they become friends.
\nAnd Entertainment Weekly has confirmed a sequel to Octavia Spencer<\/strong>‘s 2019 horror hit ‘Ma’<\/strong> is in the works.<\/p>\n

In other headlines, Nick Jonas<\/strong> is in final negotiations to star as KISS<\/strong> frontman Paul Stanley<\/strong> in the upcoming rock biopic ‘Shout It Out Loud’. The movie will begin filming at the end of the year or in early 2026.<\/p>\n

And during her new lie detector test for Vanity Fair, Dakota Johnson<\/strong> was found to be truthful about her claim of sending a gallon of gorilla poop<\/strong> to her best friend’s ex.
