The House of the Dragon star, who at one point was eyed to appear in 2019\u2019s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, has been tapped to join Shawn Levy\u2019s Star War: Starfighter, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lucasfilm could not be reached for comment.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is one of multiple villain roles, according to sources, with Levy still looking to cast a female antagonist that at one point had Mikey Madison eyed for the part. Ryan Gosling stars in Starfighter, which has a release date of May 28, 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n

Molly Shannon<\/span><\/a> will join her former Saturday Night Live co-star <\/span>Will Ferrell<\/span><\/a> in a <\/span>Netflix<\/span><\/a> comedy series, which is also undergoing some off-camera changes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ramy Youssef<\/span><\/a> and Josh Rabinowitz, who were credited as co-creators and executive producers when Netflix <\/span>picked up the series<\/span><\/a> in May 2024, have departed the untitled show over creative differences, sources confirm to The Hollywood Reporter. Andy Campagna of Youssef\u2019s Cairo Cowboy production company has also departed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The series stars Ferrell as a fictional golf legend and will mark his first continuing role in a comedy series (as opposed to the sketch\/variety world of SNL).
