Sort of. <strong>Mike Myers<\/strong> has landed the <strong>Academy Icon Award<\/strong>, presented by the <strong>Canadian Screen Awards<\/strong>. The prize is presented to a Canadian individual or institution for their exceptional, ongoing contribution to the media industry. And The Gordon Sinclair <strong>Award for Broadcast Journalism\u00a0goes to Hazel Mae<\/strong>, whom you may have seen on the Blue Jays broadcasts. They will be presented during Canadian Screen Week in Toronto May 27-31st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the red carpet at the premiere of her new Prime Video series <strong>&#8216;Scarpetta&#8217;<\/strong>, with <strong>Nicole Kidman<\/strong>, <strong>Jamie Lee Curtis<\/strong> seemed to confirm her recent vague social media post about the end of her other series. She told Access Hollywood that <strong>&#8216;The Bear&#8217;<\/strong> will come to an end after season 5. No one else with the show has confirmed that, but season 5 has indeed finished filming. No release date just yet though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;ve finished season 4 of <strong>Bridgerton<\/strong>, you may be wondering who will be the focus of\u00a0season 5?\u00a0Showrunner Jess Brownell confirmed that Eloise\u00a0and Francesca\u00a0will be the focuses of season 5 and 6 when she wore \u201cE &amp; F\u201d embroidered on her jacket at the season 4 premiere. My money is on Eloise. But no word yet on when we will get season 5 in our eyeballs. Next year maybe?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>John Leguizamo<\/strong> has joined the cast of Mike Flanagan\u2019s untitled <strong>The Exorcist<\/strong> feature, which is\u00a0promising a \u201cfresh and bold\u201d take on the demonic possession story.\u00a0Leguizamo joins <strong>Scarlett Johansson, Jacobi Jupe, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane<\/strong> as production gets underway next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Barbra Streisand<\/strong> is in talks to perform at this year&#8217;s <strong>Oscars <\/strong>as part of an In Memoriam tribute to <strong>Robert Redford<\/strong>.
