Despite its ineligibility for the Emmy Awards, ‘Heated Rivalry’ <\/em><\/strong>will be honoured by ‘The Television Academy Honors.’\u00a0<\/strong>It’s being recognized for addressing LGBTQ+ representation, inclusivity in sports and toxic masculinity.\u00a0AND at the 24th ACTRA Awards<\/strong> in Toronto on May 11th, Heated Rivalry is one of\u00a0this year\u2019s Series Ensemble Award nominees, up against the likes of Children Ruin Everything,\u00a0Law & Order Toronto, and Murdoch Mysteries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In theaters, Jafaar Jackson <\/strong>portrays his famous uncle, Michael Jackson<\/strong>,\u00a0in the biopic ‘Michael’<\/strong> about his rise to fame in the Jackson 5 and breaking away from his controlling father, Joe, played by Colman domingo, for a solo career. Kat Graham and Miles Teller also star.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also in theaters,\u00a0Anne Hathaway and Michael Coel<\/strong> star in the supernatural psychological thriller ‘Mother Mary’.<\/strong>.. and Jason Segel and Samara Weaving<\/strong> star in the action comedy thriller ‘Over Your Dead Body’<\/strong>.

In ‘Apex’\u00a0<\/strong>on Netflix, Charlize Theron<\/strong> stars as a\u00a0grieving woman seeking solace in the wilderness only to become ensnared in a deadly game of cat and mouse with a serial killer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dancing With the Stars<\/strong> winner Robert Irwin<\/strong> is returning to the show \u2014 kind of. This time it’s not to dance but in a new role. He will be the\u00a0host of the spinoff “The Next Pro”<\/strong> to find a new professional dancer for DWTS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
