Taylor Swift<\/strong>‘s attorneys are\u00a0blasting\u00a0that ‘Showgirl’ trademark infringement lawsuit as ‘absurd’. The singer’s legal team alleges that Maren Flagg, who performs her show called ‘Confessions of a Showgirl’,\u00a0is instead attempting to use Swift’s name —\u00a0and her similar album title, ‘Life of a Showgirl’ <\/strong>—\u00a0to promote her brand. Swift’s team\u00a0noted that Flagg hasn’t\u00a0maintained her website and\u00a0hasn’t updated her blog\u00a0since 2021, and believe it’s unlikely someone would mistake Taylor’s record for Flagg’s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Billie Eilish<\/strong> hit the red carpet with Nat Wolff<\/strong> to promote her concert film ‘Billie Eilish Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour’<\/strong>, live in 3D. As part of movie’s Friday release, pop-up shops will open in Toronto and other cities worldwide to sell some merch

Meanwhile, Blake Lively’s lawyers shared a statement on Thursday with Entertainment Weekly, calling the settlement on May 4th a “resounding victory.”\u00a0“By agreeing to this settlement, and waiving their right to appeal, Justin Baldoni and every individual defendant now face personal liability for abusing the legal system to silence and intimidate Ms. Lively.”
